"Page Background"

Pardon the ugly white background. It's supposed to be black, but this is what I get when I ask for a 'page background' of #000000 on the modify journal page. I don't know about you, but when I think 'page background' I think of the whole (as in BODY bgcolor=...), not bits and pieces of the background. :/

At any rate, I put this post up mostly to make it easier for those sired to request membership in the community. Reply here. ;)

Update: I've been poking around looking into a workaround, but quite frankly I've other things I should have been doing, it's getting cold, and for now... I give up. Advice, as always, appreciated.

i find it quite interesting that you use the name lythnygale for your vampire name as some time ago, several years passed now I wrote in a sequence of poems one entitled "Lithingale" here is a link to one of the places where it is currently residing online. I am wondering how you came by the name. If it has some meaning somewhere, as its simply something which came to me, in a dream, as such writings as the sequence the poem is a part of often do. ...dont mind my ramblin.
It's really just an extention of my name, a little different than the one(s) I use elsewhere, a bit mysterious (vampirish), and it turned out (as an unintended co-incidence) that it looks good in blood font. :)

As for your poem, I would have liked to have read it, but I couldn't find it either on your posted site (their search feature leaves much to be desired) or google. Can you provide a more specific link?
Oh yeah... and I seem to have an affinity for y's. :>
ah :) so do I, my given name is spelt with one and usually confuses the hell outta folks

here's a link btw. http://www.insanewriters.com/nm_poetrydev/poem.cfm?id=2104
I very much enjoyed that. I assume that the series involves the previous and continuing 'adventures' of the dryad? I'd like to read the rest of the series. :)
the series is actually about the incarnations of the spirit... only the one is the dryad. there are a couple of wolves, a few birds, and many human ones.
Even better.. So where are they, or at least, what are their names?
they're mixed in with alot of other stuff on

a goodly few are in the light blue color but some arent. Sometime I hope to manage to get them put into a book, and published.
Yes, I saw that page while I was there before, hoping to find one little section devoted to the series where I could just 'pick them up and read them in order' so to speak. :) Those with '(gatekeeper)' after them struck me as possible part of the series. I know I could just read everything — and I probably will, over time — but I'd like to read the series, then go back and pick up the rest. Is there any way you could throw up a quick page with a bundle of links to the series for persistent pests like me?
